Boundary surveying is what we do.

We are also active in producing topographic surveys, plats, pipelines, oil field staking, and hydrographic surveys. We have been surveying the several-thousand-acre-ranches that are prevalent in South Texas for over 20 years. We have worked as far south as into Mexico and as far north as the Texas Panhandle. The majority of Frontier's clients are in the Oil & Gas or Pipeline business.

We provide customer service in the form of Professional Surveying and Mapping services. Knowing that we are in the service business allows us to focus on the specific needs of each client and allocate resources and energies necessary to accomplish each goal in every project. Frontier Surveying Company complies with the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyor's "Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys" and "Specifications for Categories of Surveying," 1999. When an ALTA/ACSM Title Survey is requested, we comply with "Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys" jointly established and adopted by ALTA, ACSM, and NSPS in 1999. More information on these standards is available through our links to these organizations' homepages, and on all of our Contracts for Services. Safety is also important in our profession. Frontier Surveying complies with the "Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices" when we are on a project that require traffic control, flagmen, and/or signs. We also have written policies regarding Accident and Incident Procedure for Investigation, Accident and Incident Write-Up, Safety Policy, New Employees Orientation Policy, Lockout/Tagout, Incipient Fire Fighting, HAZCOM, HAZWOPER, Personal Protective Equipment Policy, Health, Safety, and Environmental Awareness, and a Drug and Alcohol plan that meets Department of Transportation RSPA-Pipeline requirements.

Oil & Gas

Frontier Surveying's Oil & Gas division offers a wide range of professional surveying services to meet our clients' needs.

Field services include boundary/surface ownership surveys, mineral lease and unit surveys, location of easements, proposed well location staking, location of existing plug and abandoned locations, and topographic data collection for existing/proposed pad sites and road construction.

Office services include Texas Railroad Commission platting for proposed and as-drilled location plats, lease/unit plats, road and pad layout plats for TX-DOT permitting and topographic maps for engineering specifications and exhibit maps to meet each clients specific needs.

Frontier uses the most current technology and state of the art field equipment such as Leica system 1250 Smart Rover RTK and Trimble R8-GNSS RTK, Leica Robotic total stations, and Radiodetection RD 4000 pipe locators. In the office, workstations are outfitted with the most up-to-date software including Autodesk Map, Raster Design, Visible Survey, Land Development Desktop, ESRI Arcmap and SurvCADD, etc. giving Frontier the ability to be extremely flexible in terms of deliverables and meeting specific client needs. In addition, two independent but cooperative offices (Corpus Christi and Fort Worth, Texas) enjoy the benefit of extreme flexibility and a turnaround rate which is what sets Frontier apart from the competition.

Pipeline

Frontier Surveying's Pipeline division offers a wide range of professional Pipeline, Easement, and Right of Way services.

Field services include boundary/surface ownership surveys, locating easements, Routing and Staking proposed pipelines and easements, locating existing pipelines, and as-built pipeline surveys.

Office services include pipeline planning services such as large preliminary route plats consisting of aerial images, ownership parcel maps, and Texas Railroad Commission pipeline data. Landowner exhibit plats, TxDOT bore permit plats, and plan and profile alignment sheets. Frontier is experienced and efficient with pipelines over land as well as under water.

Infrastructure

Frontier Surveying's Infrastructure division offers a wide range of professional surveying services tailored to the needs of the design and construction industries.

Field services include boundary, topographic, hydrographic, construction layout, route, and structural monitoring surveys.

Office services include two and three dimensional modeling, plan & profile sheets, mapping, and GIS database input. Preliminary planning services such as large route plats consisting of aerial images, ownership parcel maps, and other relevant data.
